Mir ist nicht ganz klar, ob er mit diesem Artikel provozieren will (dann ist er sehr gut), oder ob er es Ernst meint, wenn er von Demokratie schreibt, immerhin werden in einer Demokratie politische Gegner nicht exekutiert, auf der anderen Seite schreibt er schon ganz richtig, dass all das Chaos nicht plötzlich hereingebrochen ist:

Die Durchsetzung demokratischer Ziele mit demokratischen Mitteln erscheint immer erstrebenswert, aber es gibt keinen genauen Hinweis darauf, dass auch die Hamas an demokratischen Zielen interessiert ist. So erklärten die Aktivisten ja bereits, für die Hamas seien die Fatahleute wie die Juden und was sie von denen halten ist ja hinlänglich bekannt.
